Hello everyone!!!

I'm fine. Mostly.

Have some severe left arm pain since Tuesday. Not a heart attack. Or heart attack related. Here's how I know:

Around Tuesday approx. at noon, I brought in a shipment of assorted items in a delivery that was about 25 lbs. worth. And I haven't done that in a while. So I am sure that contributed and I am sure I pulled something while doing that. Blah.

Plus, it IS improving. And I am not experiencing any other symptoms. No swelling, no redness or heat indicating a clot. It is very specifically localized, rather than generalized pain, and I do not have crushing chest pressure or chest pain. No fever, etc.

So, I guess I'm waiting it out and letting it improve while I take regular doses of Tylenol. Really don't want to go to the hospital in a pandemic unless I can avoid it.

I was finally able to sleep last night. With this kind of injury, it throbs, so I have been unable to get actual meaningful sleep from Tuesday > Saturday. Even with sleep supplementation.

But, I'm fine. Fine enough to return to type something like this all out without pain, anyway.

Hey CS! Glad your arm is starting to feel better and it wasn't anything more serious. Hopefully, like you said, you just pulled something and are on the mend. :)

Ditto. Sounds like you pulled something, perhaps even a very slight tear in a muscle, both which takes a fair amount of time to heal. It's hard to be patient with that, but it's crucial because otherwise you will pull again and it will just take longer. Hope your sleep improves, that just makes it all worse.

The nearest Urgent Care can be your best friend for this. As you know hospitals are not the best place right now. I don't know your age bracket but the arthritis word comes to mind. That can happen at any time in your life.

Your concern is much appreciated. But I am definitely on the mend. Thank you!!!! Good to see that it's probably arthritis. I Amazon'ed arthritis medication just to check it out, and yup...guess what shows up? Tylenol. Sounds like I am in good company since I am using Tylenol to work through the pain here.

And I am plenty coffee-fied.
