This is so frustrating for me to hear this. I have lived in California all of my life and back in the 60's and 70's it got up to 115 a number of times in the summer in the southern San Joaquin valley. No power outages or rolling black outs back then. Now with enviros managing the system, solar, wind and taking out a few dams as well as decommissioning some nuclear plants and now this. This is ridiculous! Wind and solar can not peak for an electrical grid. Case in point.

Incompetent sob's! Build something, do something! What an outrage!

Well the power went out completely at 9pm Pacific time for one minute and then came back on. It was pitch black everywhere and no streetlight outside. Makes you wonder how long people would have internet or cell service and how they might panic not having a phone that works.
