M2.5 - 86km N of Redoubt Volcano, Alaska2014-08-02 01:57:19 UTC [ link to earthquake.usgs.gov] Okay, I have to point this out. I had noticed over a period of time that everytime I saw an EQ there, it's depth was 100 km. Everytime. Earlier today there was a 2 point something there and the depth was around 40 km, which I noticed because I can only remember seeing 100 km there. Now this one... 2.7 km AKO, are you out there? Can you shed any light on this for me?? ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

The answer, in short, is yes — very well. A widespread Ebola outbreak here is "not in the cards," the CDC director recently told reporters. That's partially because the United States has excellent infection control procedures and facilities. Among those facilities is a network of quarantine stations, where the CDC can legally detain anyone who may have been exposed to cholera, diptheria, infectious tuberculosis, plague, smallpox, yellow fever, SARS, new strains of flu, or — relevantly — viral hemmorhagic fevers like Ebola. Here's a map showing where those quarantine stations are [ link to finance.yahoo.com] Quoting: AKObserver MSM just keeps repeating that because of the USA's good hygiene and EBOLA outbreak here just won't happen. Yet it survives on surfaces for days. Just think about a stack of money that was sneezed or coughed on at a busy Walmart. Don't think it can spread in the USA??? You best make sure you have 3 months minimum - with 6 months better - supplies to SIP (shelter in place). You leave the house once this breaks out, well, you shouldn't go back around your family, friends or group for 21 days minimum. Yup, this EBOLA thing has me super spooked!! Quoting: whiteangel WA i agree with you I was being sarcastic when I posted this There is one quarantine station for the whole state of Alaska people will die before they ever get there infecting everyone along the way and yet we are the major hub for every expedite service worldwide all goes through Anchorage airport Don't get me started on Walmart...disgusting, backwoods attitude, good ole' boy idiots I know how they handle Hazmat situations like food exposed to fecal matter first hand...the big boys fly in from Arkansas to assess the situation, lie to the employees, relocate all management involved then they have night shift put it on the shelf for 'joe consumer' to buy. Take yourself and loved ones protection into your own hands God help us all WHO warns of ‘catastrophic’ consequences of Ebola outbreak: disease is spreading faster than our ability to control it. That whenever it's clear a cop is out of control. That the other cops near by jump right in and start to get out of control as well after several seconds. Back in the day, if a cop went ballistic for no reason, you'd see the other cops kinda doing something. Kinda like step in. It's now like roided up dumb bullies just fallowing the alpha male with out even assessing whats going on. "Me Hulk, Me Smash". The satellite is expected to land in the Indian Ocean, near the Bay of Bengal. It is expected that most of the Cosmos-903 will be incinerated when entering the Earth's atmosphere and only some debris is expected to reach the Earth's surface.
