Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated

This thread is so underrated, it isn't just an EQ thread, it has a great vibe to it, without conflicts and only nice people.

So our forecast called for 1-2 inches of snow. We all rolled our eyes as we have been so dry, we knew it meant a dusting of dry powder at most.

Around 1 am I heard the rain start and looked out to enjoy!

At 1:15 am it was silent and I looked out again. It was snowing very heavy.

Went to bed at 3 but checked and we had about 3 inches of snow.
Woke up about 6:30am to use the bathroom and checked again.
6" of snow and still snowing but only light.

Hubby said there was a good 7-8" when he went out to shovel and said it was very heavy snow. We got just under an inch of moisture that we desperately needed



Love seeing the beautiful deep blue skies! After a summer and part of Fall and the Spring of nasty skies filled with smoke, this is truly a blessing

I hope that all your family recovers completely without any side effects and that you and Mini are just fine also.

Some useless info, but may be of interest...

The covid test they're doing now (at least here anyway) isn't the one where they shove that stick into your brain via your nostril lol. Now they swirl the little stick inside of each nostril but not very deep at all. We didn't even have to tilt our heads back.

We both developed headaches shortly after the test. Nothing terrible, but found that noteworthy.

Mini and I got tested today. I wasn't supposed to be part of that plan but after mini sat in her car in line for FOUR HOURS she had to use the bathroom. Luckily testing is done right across the street so when she got near our house she jumped out of her car to run inside quickly. I ran out and took her place in her car in case the line started moving again. It did, and by the time she got back we had moved along so much that I decided to stay with her instead of walking back in the cold. I wasn't dressed for all that lol. Another hour and a half later, we both got the test. Results in 1-3 days.

Hurts big time, lol!

Hoping everyone's test in the family is negative! Especially the baby. Also glad to know that they are using a different test. It might just depend on where you get the test done, too. I'm sure some places are still shoving swabs into brains. I know they are here, but that might not be everywhere.
