[link to www.ditrianum.org (secure)] His latest prediction: earthquake forecast updated 23 November 2020, 20:20 UTC Critical planetary geometry on the 23rd and 24th may cause larger seismic activity from the 24th to the 26th potentially reaching magnitude 7. Earth's alignment with Venus and Uranus on the 27th in combination with critical lunar geometry may cause larger seismic activity, potentially reaching high 6 to 7 magnitude, most likely around the 29th. We all rolled our eyes as we have been so dry, we knew it meant a dusting of dry powder at most. Quoting: WhiteAngel Around 1 am I heard the rain start and looked out to enjoy! At 1:15 am it was silent and I looked out again. It was snowing very heavy. Went to bed at 3 but checked and we had about 3 inches of snow. Woke up about 6:30am to use the bathroom and checked again. 6" of snow and still snowing but only light. Hubby said there was a good 7-8" when he went out to shovel and said it was very heavy snow. We got just under an inch of moisture that we desperately needed Love seeing the beautiful deep blue skies! After a summer and part of Fall and the Spring of nasty skies filled with smoke, this is truly a blessing I saw video on the weather channel earlier of Denver covered in snow, and thought of you!!! And was tickled to know that you guys got some much-needed moisture. Glad that it helped to clear the skies as well. We had the front blow through today, and had blinding dust. It was just brown outside. It's finally settled down, thank goodness. This has been the driest November for many years. TANSTAAFL - There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch |

Quoting: Simple27 The covid test they're doing now (at least here anyway) isn't the one where they shove that stick into your brain via your nostril lol. Now they swirl the little stick inside of each nostril but not very deep at all. We didn't even have to tilt our heads back. We both developed headaches shortly after the test. Nothing terrible, but found that noteworthy. When I had my mild heart attack, and was waiting in the ER to be admitted, they did the horrible nostril test - felt like they scraped the back inside of my skull. But interestingly, the test result came back in a little over an hour. And I got a headache too. TANSTAAFL - There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch |

Also glad to know that they are using a different test. It might just depend on where you get the test done, too. I'm sure some places are still shoving swabs into brains. I know they are here, but that might not be everywhere. Ya know, Kickin, anyone who hasn't had the test and reads this thread will have to be chased down to take it, after reading our descriptions!! lol Last Edited by justanothergranny on 11/24/2020 09:47 PM TANSTAAFL - There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch |

When you look at Antifa and BLM, you will see the same conflict that was also going on in the 1920's. Everyone should read it and see if they too got the same "feeling" I did. [link to www.history.com (secure)] The Roaring Twenties was a period in history of dramatic social and political change. For the first time, more Americans lived in cities than on farms. The nation’s total wealth more than doubled between 1920 and 1929, and this economic growth swept many Americans into an affluent but unfamiliar “consumer society.” People from coast to coast bought the same goods (thanks to nationwide advertising and the spread of chain stores), listened to the same music, did the same dances and even used the same slang! Many Americans were uncomfortable with this new, urban, sometimes racy “mass culture;” in fact, for many–even most–people in the United States, the 1920s brought more conflict than celebration. However, for a small handful of young people in the nation’s big cities, the 1920s were roaring indeed. It could happen again, though no one wants to admit that. Yes, poor land management was partially to blame, but a long drought and the hottest temps on record were the major cause of the DB. [link to www.cbsnews.com (secure)] More than eight decades later, the summer of 1936 remains the hottest summer on record in the U.S. However, new research finds that the heat waves that powered the Dust Bowl are now 2.5 times more likely to happen again in our modern climate due to another type of manmade crisis — climate change. While many like to spout manmade climate change, if you still believe that crap, it proves in the above that we didn't cause it. 1936 was the hottest, not 2012 like so many of the "green" culture loves to tout!! Scary part? If we are copying the 1920's --- gulp --- what will 2030's be like??? The brain stab is why I refused to get the test for the last 8 months. I'm still kinda unhappy I had it done. Watch it be positive. *facepalm* ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 65853998 did not see much in my area multiple posts on earthboppin today, getting hit with spaceweather right now as well I didn't notice any birds today, but we had 2 good sized hawks flying around yesterday which is quite a treat to see here. One of them scooped up a mouse from the ground and brought it on top of a light pole and ate at it. Gruesome-ish, but I watched in amazement. Beautiful birds. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |
