First, thank you all again for the well wishes positive thoughts and prayers everyone. I can not express enough how much I appreciate all of you. I know it sounds like a repeat, but you ARE absolutely awesome and I miss spending time with my favorite people (read: you) on here.

Hope everyone is okay in these challenging times, on a personal and society level. This crisis really sucks, but we need to make the most of it. Not always easy. Just try to keep your head up and go from the fact you are doing the best you can. Things have to and will get better for all of us..

A little update from my end:

In the 6th week now. Still a lot of pain in neck and arm and now the pain also spread to my left leg, from my butt to my calf which could also be a herniated disc.

Because of the continuous level of pain in my neck and arm and the spread to my leg, I asked a second opinion yesterday. That doctor immediately trippled my medication and told me that this might take at least 12 weeks, where the other doctor told me that the medication I took was the max and I should be okay in 6 to 8 weeks. Big difference. Doctors, grrr.. At least the upped medication allows me to relax and type a bit more now, which is great for someone who uses a lot of words, lol.

I have doctors appointment tomorrow for check up and to discuss a possible scan and visit with a neurologist in the hospital, also for some cognitive tests. Maybe that gives clarity if this is really just herniated discs or something else is going on. To be honest, from my own perspective I do worry a bit about that, but let's first wait and see before drawing conclusions. For now it just sucks to know it might take another 6 weeks, but it is what it is. And like I said before, I know there's a lot of people who have way bigger problems.

Anyway, that's my Mezzo Medical update for now. I will keep you posted if there is more news. It will work out, like it always has.
