I've been up for almost an hour now. Have several windows open like I always do. It's way too quiet out. Always hear the Crows, Robins, Blue Jays and occasional seagull and those little songbird Starlings. Most mornings when I'm up this early, usually hear some geese too. I live in a part of the city with lots of parks. Ten blocks down is Wapato park with a small lake. I haven't heard any birds or anything this morning not even dogs barkign. -Everything's more awesome when you lean into it. |

I live in Tacoma and am about 2 miles from the sound. As long as there's food sources, (dumpsters) seagulls will go pretty far inland from salt water though. I heard a couple Crow if a little bit ago just for a minute or two. But other than that it's still real quiet not even dogs barking. It's a nice sunny morning too. To be about 85 again today. Even living in the cities we have lots of birds and squirrels, possums, raccoons. You get out a little ways from the cities in the suburbs even coyotes now and then. And then if you gettin east into the suburbs they even have the black bears that come down and get in peoples balls and stuff. Just like you see in California on the news.
