So in advance I ask forgiveness. No!!! Hell NO!!! It has already spread. Even on the plane ride over it was spread before he was symptomatic. We have seen proof of that on the Ebola 2014 thread (story of the 7 year old boy with no symptoms but infected everyone before he became symptomatic!) so fuck the CDC trying to tell us otherwise. Not even to mention all the poor people who have unwillingly had contact with Dallas patient and/or shared contagious surface contact since he landed. Yes those surfaces are still contaminated! Everyone on here knows things scare me sometimes but I always pray for no doom. I have been absent from this thread because this is the first time I see a potential for actual doom and I am terrified. I have no doubt two of these strains were released on purpose. I also fully believe it is airborne. ( and there are studies to back up my belief). I have been preparing accordingly and I hope you are all doing the same. Dallas is a hot zone! And I pray we make it through this. But given the choice....my ass is avoiding that shit by all means possible. Walking into the fire doesn't (to me) mean it's my time. I can choose to walk away from the fire. And if the fire ends up on my front steps....I can fight the fire. But I will not invite it over and I certainly won't go looking to dance with it. I would go. Here's my reason's why. First of all, whether I die peacefully in my sleep, in a horrific motorcycle crash, by a crazed person or a virus makes no difference. I am dead regardless and I firmly believe when a person's number is up, their number is up. Period. Second, if you altered your life whenever there was doom on the horizon you would never leave your house, or your bed for that matter. You cannot constantly live in fear of what may be. If it is my time to go, so be it. This existence is only temporary and I'd rather be having fun that cowering in fear when I do go. Third, I do not wholeheartedly believe anything, and I mean ABSOLUTELY anything spouted by MSM or on the magical boxes we are using now, unless I see it with my eyes and hear with my ears, and even then I can only take it with a grain of salt. Everything we see manipulates our perspective, good or bad, and how we perceive things as they are. Lastly, I understand how contagious disease can and will spread and can take precautions to prevent infecting myself without donning PPE. Carry hand sanitizer and use it whenever you have touch something many other people touch. Avoid touching when you can, by use of gloves, dry paper towels or don't touch at all and do NOT touch your face until you sanitized your hands, no matter how much it itches. As an example, and this will sound gross to some people, but I worked in a building with hundreds of people and rarely got sick. When I used the restroom, I didn't wash my hands using the sinks in bathroom and I never touched the light switches with my hands (used elbow when needed). I opened the bathroom door with a paper towel. When I got back to my desk, I used sanitizer to clean my hands. The toilets and paper towel dispenser were hands free, so that helped, but when the towel dispenser is not, grab only the paper towel rather than touch the button, and use that paper towel to flush and open doors. It's not the toilet seat that's 'dirty.' It's the flush handle, sink faucet, door handle and light switch that are 'dirty.' I hope that helps. I hear you Sol. And you have some valid points I agree with. We should not live in fear and I don't think we are anywhere near to needing to SIP. But I shall respectfully disagree with you about Dallas. I see it as Russian Roulette right now. Safer to go visit anywhere but there.  Edit - spelling error. To play devil's advocate here a bit... If 'they' are telling us it is in Dallas, then it is already everywhere and they know it is out of control. So, this is their controlled release of information to keep the masses from going into panic mode too quickly. OR, it's not here, or perhaps it is in some other unknown place within our borders, and this story is a test to see how the masses react. Either we're completely safe, or we're already doomed. If this strain is truly airborne, as some speculate, then it's already in your town or only hours away and it's only a matter of time before it gets to you. You're either marked for death, as we sit now, or you will survive due to your bodies ability to fight it and build immunity. You or I may be some of the lucky few that make it through (10-40%). It will matter not if you have physical contact with an infected individual. I only need to refer back to the 1490's when disease was 12-24 months ahead of the Europeans actually arriving physically on any new location as they moved west. The disease was airborne and most native peoples had no immunity whatsoever. They died long before any 'explorer' was actually seen or they survived because their individual body was able to fight the infection. By the time the 'explorers' showed up, entire populations had been wiped out and the few survivors were merely struggling to survive. Hence the reason so many of our history books state 'They were savages!' Of course that was the 'explorers' perception. If your entire community (60-90%) just died within the last couple of years, don't you think you might look a little disheveled and not the most cordial to new arrivals? Basically, what I am trying to say is that you will not need to have any physical contact, near contact or even leave your house to have the potential to be infected. If Ebola is truly here and in the open, what will play out over the next 12-18 months is already written in stone and it matters not what you choose to do. So, travel, have fun, hide, or whatever...what will be, will be. Rosh Hashanah is passed Sept. 24-26, Yom Kippur is coming Oct. sundown 2-3. the 2nd Blood Moon coming on Sukkot Oct8 and Sukkot is 8-15. It is the whole Convergence of Ebola, ME, Ukraine, ISIS, Syria, and the Volcanoes the very Earth itself is begging to groan. The Age is coming to and end. these are just my thoughts and feelings IMHO the quicking is starting to happen. we are all going to be tried in the fire so the pure gold that is in us will shine and the dross be burned away. |

Whether this current outbreak is the one or a future outbreak does it, remains to be seen. When I was younger, I feared this disease and had this outbreak occurred even 5 years ago, I'd be freaking out. However, at this time I look at this outbreak in awe and I am utterly amazed that something so, so very small can entirely wipe out a species. Unfortunately, that species happens to be us this time. That said, with all the other indicators of the times that we are in, this disease is necessary. We may be in the end of age many prophecy have spoke of for millenia, in which case, there's absolutely nothing we can as our fates were sealed long ago. It may also simply be due to the fact that we, as mankind, have attempted to manipulate nature so much over the last few hundred years, more specifically the last hundred, and have essentially knocked nature out of balance. Nature is fighting back with a vengeance to bring equilibrium back. We are merely along for the ride. Regardless of reasons why, many of use are not going to make it, in this physical body, through what is to come. Fear, apprehension, anxiety and many more are natural feelings to be having right now. Just know, all will go as planned and you are not in control. Sit back, enjoy the ride we call life and watch what comes. We are about to view what's not been seen in recorded history. If you are one of the lucky few that survive, you will get to be the ancients, the sages, the wise ones of the next world. Actually to be honest it is more than that. I am a firm believer in the need to see both and or all sides. I do truly understand your perspective. I was much more on your side of the fence 15 years ago. But I admit I have been tainted by working for them. Knowing what they are capable of I have now developed the instinctual survival need to find balance. It's not easy and I struggle with it. I want to live life to the fullest, understanding if it's my time then so shall it be. But knowing what they are capable of, and even more importantly having a young daughter, I need to choose wisely between having fun and ensuring her survival. I hope that makes sense. Well...there is a name for all those that agree on everything....  Civil discourse is a necessity for a people to advance, learn, get along, etc. If we constantly agreed that means one of two things.
