Today was an eye opening day. I wasn't sure that I was going to share this, but what the heck. I've shared so much on this thread.

I have bad anxiety. Most of you likely already know this. Well, it's gotten worse. It's causing problems and worries that I didn't know of. Nef is concerned, and rightfully so.

I need some assistance with it. I really, REALLY didn't want to add a new medication to my life, but after some deep talks today, I realize I have to. It's hurting others now. And I'm not okay with that.

I have a virtual appointment with my doctor in the morning. Maybe this was the push I needed. I didn't realize I was hurting others so much. :(

He is so supportive and loving. Today was both good and bad. It's time I work on fixing me. For him. For Mini. For me.

Aw Sim. You aren't the first to need help and won't be the last. Doesn't mean it's permanent. Do what you need to do to get better and always remember there's a ton of people in your life and on here that love and care about you very much.

Aww, but it sounds like you had a big breakthrough today though, which is really really positive. I am very good at hiding my own issues too, but it never ended up working out well. I always put everyone else's stuff ahead of my own stuff, and it ended up backfiring because it hurt them in the long run.

Seems like you are ready to face it all head on now, which I am trying to do myself. Learning that self-care is the most important thing we can do is hard to apply when you've handled things a certain way for so long. It is a process, but I am glad you have such good support around you. And you will get there :)
