I was going to say though, never complain about the old job. Specifics at least. Try and use kind words and focus on your needing a change, you felt static, stagnant, etc. But always speak kindly of old job. Whiney is never good, and will be remembered and auto multiply any whine about current job.

It went incredibly well. I'm 99.9% sure I have the job. :)

I don't yet have my official offer, but the woman I spoke with said that I have her blessing for the job and that she was going to call the general manager to let her know.

The GM already emailed me with a YAY!!!!! She loved you!

Soooo, we'll see what's next.

I emailed back and said that I really enjoyed the interview and to let me know the next step(s) and whether or not I should have that conversation with my current boss yet.

I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I'm pretty sure I got the job. And for a decent amount above the original salary offer. :)

Not even worried about any form of severance pay. I don't even have a contract with my current employer, so my main goal is leaving on peaceful terms, with his blessing. I ask for no more than that.
