She seems to be going through very similar things that I went through around her age. Feeling like crap, several doctor appointments with no real answers, etc. I feel so bad for her. I guess because I truly understand the fear without answers. I pray she pulls through it all. Quoting: Simple27 She has a biopsy scheduled this coming week for a nodule in her thyroid. That's just one of many issues she has going on. Please pray for my baby sister, Mandy.  Prayers for Mandy! Would like prayers for our friend John, and his daughter Miranda. John is 66. Had a major stroke 3 years ago. Lived here with no family close. Miranda lives in E TX, and isn't supposed to be here, legally. We found John a year ago living in a man-camp outside of town, very isolated and alone. We moved him into a travel trailer on our property. He has severe memory issues, and is very disabled mentally from the stroke. But he's done well living here this past year. Til recently. We didn't know it, but he's been spending most of his time closed up in the trailer eating candy. When we got back last Saturday from a quick trip to our condo, we were told John wasn't doing well. I took him to the ER Sunday morning. He could barely walk. He'd had another stroke, and his blood sugar was 380. I'm surprised but grateful he didn't die! Yesterday, he was able to go to E TX to live with his daughter. It's been a long, crazy week. They have a difficult time ahead of them. I will keep John and Miranda in my prayers. That's very scary. We are in full crisis mode in several areas. Drums of war, energy bills 7 times as high, people needing to choose between food or warmth, housing crisis, etc. I can't remember ever having seen this in my lifetime. It also shows how money and technology has becoming the dominant factor in most of our lives.. All we can do is keep an eye open for those who struggle and help where we can, no matter how. We need to pay less attention to social media and such and more to the people around us. And I know that is not easy to do in this timeline we live in, but giving up is not an option...   |
