By the way, where in FL is your vacation home?? I totally missed where.

Mr. Angel saw the surgeon today and he said he doesn't agree with the MRI report, that he doesn't see a tear so no surgery.

This is great news BUT on the side of caution, since that is two very different views, Mr. Angel is going go to regular doc and see if he will ask for another MRI or consultation that will be on our normal insurance and not workman's comp. His arm is too important to the work he is now doing to have this all messed up.

Crazy when you can't trust doctors anymore but that was totally opposite from what the doctor who first read the MRI said.

That sounds painful Angel. Sending your husband, you and the family my most positive thoughts and hope that it fully heals soon again. And also for your MIL to be back safe and secure at her trusted place again.

Edit: just read your last post. At least it must be a relief that the surgeon thinks otherwise, but it is always good to have a second opinion from an equally qualified doctor.

Let's just hope that it won't end in a time consuming back and forth quarrel between those experts. Most important is that your hubby gets treatment asap.

Such good news for you Isis. And sorry to hear about your new heater. It's about time Mr. Murphy leaves you alone. He has overstayed his presence more than enough.

And I totally agree about all the people who lost their homes and even their lives in this disaster. Truly sad. My heart goes out to them all.

I will be glad to give it a try to help some with this from my time zone as well if you like, as I am more inside during fall and winter anyway. John is a fantastic help as well. And I know that you too have to focus on your things too this fall for your own future.

The only days I might not be able to do that is when I have a morning shift, but that seems usually only once every 5 or 6 days. I do need to learn how the fast posting of the EQ's works. So let me try to post some in a bit and then let me know if that is the correct way. I don't want to cause extra work for you, John and Sim of course.

Ain't that the truth Isis. We see the same here with energy prices. The prices have gone up about 700% since last year.

A lot of people who have a variable contract, meaning that they have to pay more when the prices increase, having to choose between food and heat. The government put a price and volume cap on energy from November onward, to at least try and ease the pain a little, which in 40% will not work because of bad isolated houses and such. And also announced that energy companies will be fully compensated for the price difference between cap and actual prices.

And what do the big energy companies do? They immediately announced price increases up to 60% on current prices, with most likely much more increase to come in the coming months. So any overusage on the volume cap, which goes for a lot of families, will be charged against actual prices.

No empathy with their clients whatsoever. Just increasing their own exorbitant profit levels for the sake of themselves and their share holders. Privatizing basic needs really works well in times like these. Shameful.

And then they wonder why our society is falling apart.
