I noticed that sometimes like with the last ones I posted, they squeeze some EQ's in at a later moment. They did that with the Tonga ones and the Reykjavik one. I edited those to get them in the right time order, but not sure if that is how it is done. So if I need to do things differently or if there is some extra remarks I need to pay attention to, please let me know in pm or email Favorite Froggy. I have no clue how you do the pop ups for example and how you can see that there has been an up- or downgrade in magnitude. But overall, I hope it helps to ease the time pressure on all of you. |

Thanks Mezzo!! You did a fine job. Yes, many times quakes don't appear right away. That's where the "pop ups" come from. If they are added pretty quickly sometimes you can edit a few posts and get them in the right order. Otherwise we just list them as a pop up. As far as how to tell when there are pop ups, I go back and look. That's really the only way. But since it's basically been either myself or Simple posting all the quakes for some time, I can sometimes notice a quake on the list that I don't remember posting, especially if it's not a typical location or if it's a decent size quake. But usually as I catch up on the thread in the a.m. & p.m. I just check EMSC as I'm catching up and note any pop ups that weren't posted. It doesn't really take any additional time since I'm catching up anyway. Oh, one oddity is that there are certain locations that tend to pop up later. Like Mexico. And Missouri quakes. And the recent Reykjanes Ridge quakes. There are a lot of weird quirks you notice when you start paying closer attention. Thanks again, and just do what you can when you can. Any little bit of help is appreciated, that's all I'm asking of anyone if they want this thread to continue as-is. If you think about all the political crap alone that's posted here, if that energy was only spent to help out and post a few quakes instead, that would add up and make a huge difference.
