WAS TO KAYAK IF NECESSARY WITH CATS. FEARING THE 'WORST'.CAPS.

Damn, that's worrysome CAPS buddy. But let's not fear the worst yet. The communication in that area has been severely damaged, so that could be a valid reason why he hasn't responded yet.

I wish there was a way we could track his family or something. Maybe we can track family members on the internet, based on his name details, address and phone number. About 25 EQs around this spot in the past 24 hours, magnitude ranging from 1.5 to 2.5.

Definitely a lot of problems in Florida.
My cousin her family and there daughters family moved from Valencia, Ca 2 years ago to Winter Haven, FL. Winter Haven is exactly in the middle of Florida between Tampa and Orlando. Yes right in the full path of hurricane Ian. There house there was on a raised 3 foot house pad as best that I can tell from the pictures and got 3 inches of water in 4 rooms of the house. Luckily only flooding and no major storm damage. I am sure that they took in to consideration hurricanes in Florida when they purchased there home there in the middle of Florida. She has worked and retired from Chub and Liberty Mutual insurance companies.
