I have tours scheduled, but they're just not going to get to see the outdoor ceremony space. We'd all get frostbite by the time we walked down there and back. I'm going in fully bundled. Turtleneck sweater, winter hat, gloves, scarf, warm boots... ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Your guests probably won't want to be out walking in that cold anyway so I'm sure it won't be a problem. But bundle up regardless because that's some serious cold! |

Had a little squall go through here last night and came to work this morning to find our first 4 calves of the season! One of the cows calved within a day of her last years calf. It was 14 degrees, but we had straw out and all the cows calved on the straw. Got up to 40 today and 48 tomorrow, so we will take it. It was -30 the last two years when we started calving, and that is real serious and takes a lot of effort from us! deplorably republican |

(OP) User ID: 84105605 United States 02/02/2023 07:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "WEAK" CME IMPACT SPARKS AURORAS: An unexpected CME hit Earth's magnetic field on Feb. 1st at 18:54 UTC, causing a 10 nanoTesla jolt in magnetometer readings from Canberra, Australia. This is considered to be a weak impact. Nevertheless, it was enough to spark auroras around the Arctic Circle: https://imgur.com/R2dzpzK "What an amazing night!!!" says Marianne Bergli, who photographed the display from Storfjord, Norway. "It looked like a green serpent was dancing around the Moon." The instigating CME may have been one of many CMEs that left the sun in recent days but which, initially, did not appear to be Earth directed. When multiple CMEs overlap in coronagraph images, it can be difficult to sort out their individual trajectories. As a result of such confusion, more minor impacts are possible in the days ahead.
