Wrong. According to the National Weather Service, two blizzards have never verified in Boston during the winter season (DJF) - or even a calendar year! So there will be a lot of anticipation for this event, both for the record books and for the general public. its a day worth watching for quakes. I used to watch them everyday but i stopped for a while and got back to watching them a few days ago and I noticed California hasn't been as active as usual. So im hoping we don't have anymore big ones. |

Quoting: Mattie:) There isn't anything one could do to prepare for the big ones that are coming from the MAR or Canaries. You can't live along the coasts. One most be 500 to 1000 feet above sea level (some say more) and 200 to 500 miles inland. Most islands will disappear. Saving grace - it takes time for the tsunami to make land fall. If you know it happens even 15 minutes before everyone else, you can evacuate before the masses! This is where turning it over to God and doing your best, is all you can do. |
