Ok. Major breakthrough tonight at bowling.

About six months ago (September, October-ish) I injured my left knee. Have NO clue how it happened because I had not done anything in regular day to day activities that would cause it.

After my knee got better, I could use it but this created a mental block to where I was afraid to use my left leg for bowling.

Tonight, for the first time, every time, with the assistance of 10 time PBA champion Barry Asher, I have FINALLY been able to use my left leg bowling every time.

Of course, since I am learning a new technique my score has dropped by about 20 pins (120s now compared to 140s - 150s before). I will adapt though and get my scores back up there and likely will significantly improve and reach new heights.

The sky has that green to it again tonight. I'm surprised I can even see it because it's very cloudy here and was even snowing when I took these pics just a little while ago.

Here is A Possibility...

Why the Dark Night Sky Is Not Black?
The night sky from light-polluted areas can be quite bright, and naturally acquires the color of the predominant source of light pollution. It is a reddish-orange for sodium vapor lighting, and greenish for mercury vapor lighting.

The moonless night sky at a remote location far from any man-made light pollution is, however, still not completely black. To most people who are fully dark adapted, it appears a dark gray, but it may also have some faint color.

What color could it be and where does that color originate?

The dark night sky is illuminated by a natural skyglow that is composed of four parts.
1. Airglow is the brightest component and is caused by oxygen atoms glowing in the upper atmosphere which are excited by solar ultraviolet radiation. Airglow gets worse at solar maximum. Airglow can add a faint green or red color to the sky background. The color may be vivid if there is a strong aurora occurring.
2. Interplanetary dust particles reflect and scatter sunlight and make up the zodiacal light and gegenschein.
3. At night starlight is scattered by the atmosphere, just as sunlight is during the daytime. Air molecules scatter short blue wavelengths more, which is why the daytime sky is blue. The night sky also has a very faint blue component from scattered starlight.
4. Countless stars and nebulae in our own galaxy also contribute to the brightness of the night sky, most easily seen in the form of the Milky Way.

Thanks Warrior! It's just weird to me because I have never seen the sky here look the way it has twice now in just one week. My initial thought was solar-related...and maybe it is. I don't know. I just want to get out of here.

sigh

You stay warm and be safe too!

Ugh yes! That's what I heard too. While recording I did hear 2 bangs off in the distance towards the left of the school. But all that rumbling/thunder noise...didn't hear it until I watched the video.

It's snowing even heavier now. I will record another video in a little bit. I highly doubt I'll be going to sleep any time soon. Wide awake, even though I should be completely exhausted.

P.S. The sky is now an orange/gray-ish color. Like the WHOLE sky! Not like the green pics. I'll text a couple to you. Don't feel like going through the process of posting them here tonight. I will tomorrow, but I'll text you in a few minutes.

I actually hit a HUGE pothole yesterday driving to work. One of those ones that instantly make you curse. Surprised I didn't get a flat tire. Never saw it coming because it was hidden by snow.
