Yep, slow day. We'll probably see a bunch of pop ups later. I've noticed that happen in the past on the more quiet days. We'll see.

Oar fish, Catalina Islands California

A stroll on the beach turned strange for two co-workers this week when they stumbled upon a giant (and newly deceased) deep-sea creature that had made its way ashore.

The 13.5-foot-long (4 meters) carcass that washed up on the beach of Catalina Island on Monday (June 1) was that of an oarfish, a rarely seen fish that typically sticks to deep water. The creature, which is equipped with impressively long ovaries, may have washed ashore just minutes before it was spotted, according to Amy Catalano, a conservation coordinator for the nonprofit Catalina Island Conservancy and one of the people who discovered the oarfish on the beach. [See Photos of Giant Oarfish Washed Ashore]

"It was amazing, it felt like a movie prop; it looked make-believe almost," Catalano told Reuters.

I "felt" this. I know it's micro. I thought it was firing at the Base. But I thought it was a few seconds too long of a duration rumble sound then it should have been. So I got on line. BOOM! THERE IT IS! It also sounded different then the base firing. It was all around, not directional. Didn't actually feel it, per say, but I could tell.

Talented people underestimate their talent. Untalented people over estimate.

It could apply to the estimation of intelligence as well.
I think it's because as your circle of knowledge grows, you eventually learn enough to realize that the diameter of your circle of knowledge will never be greater than the ever increasing circumference of your circle.

The more you learn, the more you realize you don't know. People that don't know much don't even have a the faintest idea of how much they don't know.

I came home from work to find 2 hanging flower plants out front. : )

My neighbor is too cute. She's got a wicked green thumb right now and doesn't have any space left on her property to plant anything so she wants to plant on my property, lol. She's warming me up with hanging plants haha! They're so pretty though!
