I look at the JSPGA seismograph a couple times a day - [ link to geophysics.eas.gatech.edu] This morning when I got up and logged on, it was showing an anomoly-like staccato pattern up through the time the NYSE went off-line. I took a photo of the screen and am waiting for a custom smilie approval. A lot of computer glitches this morning that were seemingly unconnected. The pattern made me think of the Woodpecker Project. That is a SDR that displays a huge amount of RF spectrum. An EMP blast would "jam" many megahertz, temporarily The only thing close to anyone being able to jam "wide band" HF frequencies is the newer OTH(over the horizon) radars that just make an annoying noise that slides up and down the band.. |

Quoting: kundalinichi Look...maybe 'jamming' wasn't the 'correct' word, ok? Disguise, coded, flooding the airwaves...use whatever term floats your boat. It doesn't matter. I was merely agreeing with Muse that the SIGNAL that showed on the graph LOOKED the same when they do that. And they DO. To know where your heart is, look where your mind goes when it wanders.

Quoting: JazzyG I still don't understand what you are trying to infer, visually even, regarding "who" is sending coded messages. The GTech Seismograms are a function of ground movement over a function of time.(I'm sure you know this). The waterfall display on the utwente SDR shows radio wave modulations, mainly AM, USB and LSB, as a function of time. Each white(ish) line represents a signal of some sort, manmade or not. I am not attacking you, or trying to make you look stupid, just trying to use my expertise in sending and receiving amateur radio communications across the HF, VHF, and UHF spectrums. The only people legally allowed to intentionally "disguise" or "code" (encrypt) messages are governments, and they do so quite regularly, on frequencies that even I can monitor; yet not decode. "Flooding the airwaves" means QRM (Human generated (usually intentional) interference) to me, and while this happens often, not to an extent of blocking out communications across a whole band, which would take a LOT of power and multiple transmitters. No worries though. enjoy your day. Last Edited by kundalinichi on 07/08/2015 08:53 PM |
