She lives in Crestline CA ( up in the mountains above San Bernardino in Southern CA. She has never had dogs before. We’ve always had cats when we were married. Anyway she has two dogs and she says they’ve been acting weird for two days now… and she asked me if I knew how dogs act if they’re sensing a quake in the offing. Given what’s gone on today world wide - the fact that they’re sensing a quake is not unusual. Would be odd if they didn’t. I just wonder if the quake is going to be close to her or further out toward Palm Springs or inland toward LA? Or something else. I told her to make arrangements to visit her mother in Phoenix and to forget about a bargain airfare. More important to get out of there than to save a bunch of money and wait for a cheap fare.
Could a few days or a week in Arizona save her life? Yes it could if she gets stuck in CA and the quakes predicted for the North West hit or a volcano goes live in the Southern CA area. Even if she lives thru it, getting out of there and having food and water for perhaps weeks or longer may be the things that kill the masses of people - that or disease when sewers and water no longer work and feces backs up in the sewer lines and into houses.
We are obviously still friends though divorced for over 20 years. Still love the little shit and I think she feels the same way. Pity we cannot be together now…

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69733890 Just wanted to put this out there. For those with pets that are acting odd, in most cases they are just being silly pets. Animals act odd about an hour before a quake and usually closer to the actual event. A little research on this one will show this is the norm. Not saying there isn't something going on that they are picking up, only that days out from a quake isn't usually the case. They give us a little warning but not much. Now if it was something like deep underground, tectonic plate movement or something like that, then all bets are off and I haven't a clue and haven't read about this. Just wanted to put this out there since many pets over the past few days have been being weird. Love and Peace to all Wanted to add Last Edited by WhiteAngel on 07/28/2015 01:30 AM |
