I'm in Louisiana, so I doubt that I would be posting first hand accounts of earthquakes....at least I really hope not! I have been obsessed with monitoring them since a trip to L.A. 12 years ago. (I was convinced that a big one would hit while I was there)
Quoting: Orchid You guys are pretty close to Texas and Oklahoma... Also there's been a slight uptick in the occasional Mississippi and Alabama small tremor as of late as well. Maybe you'll get to feel a little bit of rumbling in the ground. (But that will probably be from Death Valley stadium at LSU when they score a touchdown coming this fall.) Quoting: Coppercoal Ive noticed the ones in Texas and Mississippi. They are pretty much in a straight line from each other with me in the middle! I lived in Dallas for awhile (first 13 years of my life) and we were all aware of the faults but I dont remeber anything ever happening. Could be I was more concerned with tornados though. I was in Death Valley for the Arkansas game that LSU went in to triple OT and lost. Pretty sure that game had to register! It was wild! |

Forgive me if this has been posted but it caught my eye. [ link to www.msn.com] Big , furry 'creature' , seen by many in Milwaukee. Several that have seen it up close have no idea what it could be? A police officer, tracking it the next day, described it as a “catlike animal” that had successfully evaded capture again. And Annie Nolen, a resident of the Brewers Hill neighborhood who spotted the animal slinking along a fence in her backyard, said she was momentarily paralyzed by the sight. “I couldn’t move,” Ms. Nolen told local reporters later. “I thought, what am I looking at?” Quoting: shadarak Holy crap! Just know that He is always with you. Blessings and shalom. To know where your heart is, look where your mind goes when it wanders.
