Cloudy outside of course!! Hoping it clears up in a little while. Summer showers the last few days, never amounts to much, just humidity leaves behind shallow clouds.

PERSEID METEOR SHOWER--THIS WEEK: Earth is entering a stream of debris from Comet Swift-Tuttle, source of the annual Perseid meteor shower. Forecasters expect meteor rates to peak at 100+ per hour on the night of Aug. 12-13 when our planet passes through the heart of the debris stream. Perseids produce more fireballs than any other meteor shower of the year, so stay tuned for a good show.

It actually lasts for about 8-10 days but the 12-13th is the peak

Hot and dry here, suppose to hit 100 tomorrow. Just harvested the winter wheat, and it averaged 45 bushel, with high protein. The latter due to the dry weather. Crop was below average, but ok.

count me among those who have been having unusual headaches. I have tmj and allergies so get the sinus headaches and tmj related ones..and the stress ones, of course...

but these headaches for the past week and a half, almost two weeks now have been unusual even for me. They leave me completely drained, and the only way I can describe them is deep inside, and it feels kind of like a hangover headache, where the skull is too tight for the brain in a way, but not exactly, except that's the closest to it. Just all wonky, and can't explain it.

Whatever it is is completely wearing me out.

I don't have a headache per se, rather a head that feels like it is full of cotton and almost like an internal pressure. Have done it before, just before a headache from hell hit. So far, 4 days of this feeling, yet no pain.

I planted ONE zucchini plant for my daughter and to have some for bread. It has thrived until this week, been hotter. The cantaloupe plant for my son - great long vines without one melon on any of the 10 vines that are about 8-10 feet long each. It was a bust but it is pretty. The rest is flowers. I knew I wouldn't be able to care for it because of the surgery and now facing dental work.

I do believe mine is due to stress/tension, but that right there is definitely a couple ways of describing it.

More than 5,000 earthquakes have hit northwest Nevada since swarm started in July 2014

Seismologists studying a year-long swarm of thousands of mostly minor earthquakes in northwest Nevada say they could be the precursor for a "big one," although speculation that they're related to a series of extinct volcanoes can't be ruled out.

The University of Nevada's Reno Nevada Seismological Laboratory announced Tuesday that there have been 5,610 earthquakes in a swarm that started in July 2014 in the Sheldon National Wildlife Refuge near the Oregon border.

I haven't been following the miniseries or the tv show "under the dome" at all, but I did read the orginal book, and the reverse happened at the end of that book..everyone but a few people under the dome died in it because a tweaker and a preacher got together and caused an explosion that got rid of most of the air.

In the end, in the book, the dome went away because I think if I recall right they found a way to contact the alien entity who had put the dome up in the first place and the alien removed it.

Make you wonder... In the case the Asteroid hitting the Earth Scenario is true and there is also a top Government cover-up, how much information these people have about the event, probably they know the exact location where it will hit, the hour, and then by running successive animations and analysis they could even tell the exact hour each subsequent event would reach or affect each of the States of America or other Countries.
