Afternoon all.

Hope you can get the RV up there ASAP =Invisible=

About the bird video. I've seen my fair share of huge Starling flocks in the city. Don't know what kind of birds in the video. But it's odd they seem to be in a frenzy and not going someplace. If that makes sense?

Hi CuriousSeeker. You don't seem to keep us updated on bowling anymore...

I made breakfast earlier. Now no, "you forgot the bacon, ham or sausage jokes". I didn't feel like meat this morning. My stomach is upset today.

Update on my neighbor. The cops did tow the car. Yesterday they had a big party. A lot more family like people coming and going the usual. It was a good bye party. So judging by the turn out, I'm thinking he's going to prison, not jail.

Your are so silly JazzyG.

Eggs, fish, shellfish and chicken aren't really meat. Real meat is red.

For all currently living at the East Coast and wondering about how far inland their altitudes are, I found a website that runs some animated maps of exactly that:

[link to modernsurvivalblog.com]

I myself stitch the individual maps to have a full map of the East Coast, showing the 150 foot high limits (in magenta color):

[link to tinypic.com]

Consider that in some places (specially low lands) the mega-tsunami could travel more than 72 miles inland, where other places could be restrain by the geography. This map is just a guide, if you live inside the magenta area maybe you are in danger, there is no way for predicting exact inundation routes.

My grandma used to make Sloppy Joes often when I was young. She's use two cans of Hunt's Manwich, Dice up one green bell pepper, one white onion, toss in some crushed red pepper flakes and a lot of salt & pepper. Then let it all simmer on the stove for like a damn hour and a half. She'd usually get the big potato buns with onion on them.

Yeah, she never did brown up ground beef. Honestly, a lot of us just figured she never really 'got' it, if you know what I mean. But oh well.

When I was a kid, grandma was already like 70.

Another thing that was sorta odd. No matter what was for dinner, there was always half a loaf of white bread and butter in the middle of the table. Didn't matter if it was tacos or she got a bucket of chicken for dinner, always bread and butter on the damn table.

So judging by the turn out, I'm thinking he's going to prison, not jail.

bigD111,

Ever had Fritos Casserole? I used to make that when I didn't have money and a few friends were over drinking.

It's a bag of Fritos, ground beef (I didn't have much, so sadly I had to buy the tube of "ground beef"), can of corn, cheddar cheese (or 8 slices of "American cheese"), diced up onion, a little can of sliced olives, can of tomato sauce and you just mix it all up. Brown the ground beef with the onions though for good flavor. The last 15 minutes top it off with some more corn chips and cheese.

I haven't made it years and year. Everyone loved it. I'd even get asked to make it, if it wasn't even my place. Someone would just send out the wife or girlfriend to buy everything, and then I was assumed to just make it.

That was a bit back, like 11 or 12 years ago. Mostly a bunch of us that were friends also worked together. We were all poor and young. Every Friday night we'd just pick a someones place and pretty much all party from Friday night, until Saturday night. Then go home Sunday afternoon.

You know, like a lot of us do and did from like 19 to 28.
