This will be super awesome for my area. The moon will already be in phase as it is rising. You know how big and orange the moon looks at this time of year. Going to be awesome and possibly chilling.....

In September 2015, the moon sweeps to perigee – the moon’s closest point to Earth for the month – on September 28 at 1:46 UTC. That is September 27 at 8:46 p.m. CDT. This month’s moon at its perigee lies 356,877 kilometers (221,753 miles) from Earth. It’s the moon’s closest point to Earth for all of 2015.

Here’s where this Sunday evening’s total Supermoon eclipse will be visible

So who will be able to sun this Sunday evening’s total Supermoon eclipse? (Check out a rundown of the sequence of events Sunday night below) Midwesterners will have a front row seat, weather permitting (and it currently looks as if it will!!).

Yep. I have a front row seat from start to finish. It reaches its' peak fullness right over me.

Clear Sunday with some clouds in evening so it might be iffy here. Saturday will be better for making sure. Just too hard to forecast this area

Lol that would be my luck. Or a heavy day/night of spraying.

The sky is SO clear here right now and has been all day. After two very intense days of heavy spraying.

Crystal clear!

Looks suspiciously like a performance enhancing peanut. Between 0:10 and 0:20 we can see his long sleeve striped shirt. Maybe he's happy cuz he just broke-out of the squirrel joint....lol

Nice vid Deano!
