That's right, not unheard of. They've had serious flooding before, but they are calling this historic. The news said water levels have never been this high before and the governor just said it's going to get worse over the next couple of days.

Where would you all consider the safest location to live in the US? As far as weather, earthquakes, volcanoes, etc. Not thugs/cities.
