Thank you both, and I always am, and I always do :) One for each family member (including my giant dog and all of his meds) plus a large rolling recycle bin with extra so that those that AREN'T prepared will have at least SOME assistance. While we're right at sea level, it's a straight shot to relatively high ground, so if we get past the shaking, we probably have time and a bit to spare to hit a safe elevation.

Thank you for the kind thoughts! Everyone needs to stay safe :)

Re: Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated
I have a stupid story to share lol.

My mother came with me today to my appointment. Afterwards she wanted to go drive by the Boston Marathon Finish Line. Neither one of us have seen it in person so I said sure, let's do it!

Boston is the most awful place to try to drive through/in. Hectic/chaos. People everywhere, on foot and cars. Aggressive drivers, which I am too, but my mom was driving lol.

Anyway, at first I was just searching for the street it's on in GPS because we didn't have a physical address, obviously. The street is super long and we didn't know if we should turn right or left onto it from where we were. So my mom suggests searching 'Boston Marathon Finish Line' in the GPS. I do and it works. It shows the map and which way to go next.

By the time we got to our 'destination' we both looked at each other like 'huh'? We were not in the right spot. Not even on the right street.

The freakin GPS took us to the mall! Where there is a Finish Line store!! Hahaha!!!

Omg we were hysterical! Derp, derp!

lol

A few years ago, I came within a split second of getting run over in Boston. I still don't know how I didn't get hit. I stepped off of the curb with one leg and as my foot hit the road it came right back up onto the curb. A car missed me by inches. Everyone thought I was a gonner.

It's no joke. As we were driving through today I was looking at the people standing, waiting on the curb and thought to myself, if ever they weren't paying attention or didn't know that you really have to wait for the light to cross in Boston, they'd get nailed.

Way too overcrowded. I told my mom I could NEVER live in Boston.

Too chaotic for me.

And that's coming from a city girl. It's crowded here too, but nothing like Boston.

I got anxiety driving around there.

hi

Haven't heard anything yet on today's labs. Unfortunately Beth Israel isn't a part of the network I have where I can see my results myself. Have to wait to hear from the doctor.

He said he would call if anything came back that needed immediate attention prior to my next appointment.

But geesh, my arms need a break for a little bit. Two days in a row, with a not-so-great result (physically on my arm) from yesterday...just gross. My arms look terrible.

Long sleeves FTW!
