The trend appears to be continuing into 2016, with outbreaks of skimming activity visiting a much broader swath of the United States than in years past. The full article is here: [ link to krebsonsecurity.com] One item in the comment section: "My husband got hit at a gas station pump. We live in a small town north of Seattle and I was really surprised to find skimmer’s had made it to our small town. I am not surprised now after reading this article." I know the Georgia Tech seismogram and spectrogram has been going freaky and no earthquakes and now it is calm.
But, wouldn't it go a little freaky with a 3.3 Oklahoma quake that just happened?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69540926 That showed up on here [ link to geophysics.eas.gatech.edu] After 16:20 and also on here [ link to geophysics.eas.gatech.edu] At about 16;40. See how small they are? What we are talking about for the precursor is usually 12-48 hours after the spike is seen. That we saw all that activity this smoke, tells me quaking will be very busy soon with 5.0-6.0's the 3.3 in OK was a very tiny quake and wouldn't always even show up on the QTEQ's |

Has anyone noticed that many EQ's were at the 10Km depth. Those are very shallow quakes. Doing a little research on EMSC EQ site, four of the M>6 EQ's had shallow depths of 10Km and occurred in April 2016. These could be pre-quakes to a much bigger event.
I would expect 1 or 2 more M>6 EQ events today....
Quoting: DuckNCover Afaik they put 10 km as a default, usually after they checked it the number changes. |

I have a little garden now (ca. 400 m²) and want to grow some climbing plants, kiwi, kiwiberries, perhaps a grapevine too. But also beans and such. Not too much work because I have arthrosis in many joints. Perhaps I'll have some questions to you about gardening ... |
