That looks really good Simple!
With Marvel in mind, I wonder if any of you are kind of "really" into Marvel comics or know anyone that is ...I got left a bunch of old (1986 - 1990ish) comics, some in plastic covers, all in really good condition and was wondering what if anything they are worth or should I just keep them for a few more years....any of you guys?

Right back at ya. And it just so happens I got in a two hour practice session today. I'm going through some lesson books at the moment to reinforce foundationary stuff before I continue practice on the harder pieces, and I learned these tunes today. Not anything special, but I found them fun :) Yes, this is me playing.

Re: Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated
Good morning earthquake peoples!

Yesterday's appointment with the plastic surgeon was not that great. He basically echoed everything my surgeon said, and said he was not the right doctor and I should be going to wound care. It is likely to be in association with Hoag Hospital, which would be double taxing on both of us right now - my mom has a massive project at work that is barely making deadline and we can barely handle one doctor's appointment right now (although it is improving as I continue walking) let alone having to go to another doctor every two days for who knows how long for more aggressive treatment / removal. I just wish the thing would heal and fall off so we didn't have to start doing this fucking bull shit.

I'm tired, I'm done, and I just want it to go away. It's not like my life will be any different anyway. I want my normal life back sure. I don't want to burden my mom anymore with everything else she also has to do. But God I am tired of everything in general. Maybe I should just bury myself in my digital piano today.

Anyway, on the bright side, I walked the full length of that walk way pictured here (link: [link to imgur.com]
). I walked from the right side curb all the way up to the doctor's office in the upper left hand area. Which is an incredible feat for someone who has been laid up for almost two months with almost no leg use. I was freaking exhausted when I got home yesterday and it was not a picnic. There are bumps and hills there everywhere and my legs are too weak and cannot handle them.

Unfortunately, I did not make it out when it was time to go home and we had to grab a wheelchair because it felt like my one good knee was about to collapse. The thing that made it worse is this doctor's office and building only had wheelchairs for super thin people instead of fat asses like me. So my mom had to go to the hospital a little bit across the walkway to grab a wheelchair of the right size. I have lost at least 40 lbs. over the past couple months due to my much lighter diet and not having access to fast food every day. Even though that has happened I'm still a fat ass and need to lose at least 40 more. Anyway...

This week, I have walked 4-5 times every day including Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. My legs are shot and need a day of rest.
 Quoting: CuriousSeeker

Awww CS, hang in there. You are making progress, despite some of the potential issues that remain. I am shocked you have lost 40 lbs! Good grief, I hope you're not sitting in that recliner starving because you can't get to the fridge! I wish I could bring you a meal! Keep taking care of yourself, I have faith you will eventually get back to 100%.

Heya KickinIt!!! Hope your Friday is going well!!

No way - I am definitely not starving. But thanks for checking! My mom is doing everything she can to keep me fed. My abilities to get fast food at every meal have been eliminated with this injury, so that's basically the root of the improvement right there. Before this I had already lost around 15 lbs. just by observing better diet (I was on a salad craze for awhile there w/yogurt & coffee in the morning for breakfast, salad for lunch, and something else healthy for dinner).

I do appreciate the offer of a meal though!!! Wish I could have a McDondald's or Jack in the Box breakfast. They were always my favorite before dieting.

Ok, glad you're not starving! You have to figure not having access to fast food is a good thing in the long run. If that would continue for a while longer (and it probably will if you can't drive), I wouldn't be shocked if you lost your taste for fast food. Do you like to cook? For some reason, I feel like you would enjoy cooking. Or, if you don't, I think you would get into it if you explored it. That's based on nothing but a vibe from what I know of you.
