Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Re: Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated [ link to www.washingtonpost.com (secure)] The crack in this Antarctic ice shelf just grew by 11 miles. A dramatic break could be imminent. The crack in the ice shelf, known as Larsen C, has been growing at an accelerating rate. Since the beginning of December, it has grown about 11 miles in length, after extending 13 miles earlier in the year. In total, the rift has grown about 50 miles since 2011 (it’s almost 100 miles long in total), and has widened to well over 1,000 feet. Now, only 12 miles of ice continue to connect the chunk with the rest of the ice shelf. need to Keep a eye and update on this but it seems it well Calf off the glacier in the next couple of months. Quoting: KickinIt No Canada stop, just Minneapolis. Originally Florida officials said they believed he came from a Canadian flight due to the terminal he was in. That thread is wrong. So, if his gun was unloaded, which I assume is the only way it's allowed, then I take it that it's allowed to also pack the ammunition separately? if so, I'm surprised by this. the man packed the gun in his suit case and the suit case was placed in the baggage storage area in the hold of the aircraft when he got to Fort Lauderdale airport he pick up his suit case at the baggage terminal took the suitcase to the bathroom and took the gun out with the ammo and loaded the gun and start shooting at the baggage terminal pick up which is all out side of the security zone. people take guns all the time when they go on hunting trips you place gun in suit case spate from the ammo you tell baggage you have pack a gun in suit case they take to TSA. TSA look at weapon and then they place suit case to be placed in storage hold of aircraft. when you get to your destination you pick ur baggage up at the baggage pick up terminal and go on your way. except this guy decided to go to the bathroom and pulled it out and load it and started shooting people. |
