Ok... it was just really weird I even looked up this site? Not something I would normally do? Felt compelled to search for it? I'm only taking 2 huge amounts of antibiotics? Wow...

Update : Initial Focal Mechanism of the earthquake as reported by Jascha Polet, seismologist. The beachball shows a strike/slip mechanism (mainly horizontal movement). This was also the case in most historic earthquakes in the area.

Surprisingly my super sketchy dog seems to be fine, although she is sitting quietly on the couch with me. (She hasn't been able to do that at night, too fearful, since we had thunder last August. She usually shakes and hides at night unless my boyfriend is here) hmmm
I was always an unusual girl. My mother told me I had a chameleon soul, no moral compass pointing due north, no fixed personality; just an inner indecisiveness that was as wide and as wavering as the ocean... And if I said I didn't plan for it to turn out this way I'd be lying...
Because I was born to be the other woman. Who belonged to no one, who belonged to everyone. Who had nothing, who wanted everything, with a fire for every experience and an obsession for freedom that terrified me to the point that I couldn't even talk about it,and pushed me to a nomadic point of madness that both dazzled and dizzied me.

To know where your heart is, look where your mind goes when it wanders.

A rock in bad hands killed Abel. A rock in good hands killed Goliath. It isn't about the rock.

A true warrior fights not because he hates the one in front of him, but because he loves those behind him.

Didn't take very long for them to determine there's no threat...which is good, but still..pretty big quake. I think it was dutchsinse that was saying last week that area was due for a sizable earthquake.

Hope this is not the Cascadia ..the fault that goes all the way from canada to mexico.

this 680-mile long stretch of colliding land mass 50 miles offshore of Oregon, Washington state and southern British Columbia is capable of generating magnitude 9 earthquakes 30 times more powerful than the worst the San Andreas can dish out.

The shaking could last a full four minutes, which would damage or bring down structures that could have survived a shorter duration.

The last monster quake that ruptured the entire length of the Cascadia fault occurred in 1700 and was around a magnitude 9. It created a tsunami that crossed the entire Pacific Ocean and caused damage along parts of the Japanese coast.
