6.5+ during the last week of May (1950-2016). 67 years, 34 hits. About a 50% cointoss we will see a 6.5+ still this month.
Western Turkey has seen many 5+ this year already, can't tell if they are foreshocks or stress relieving normal quakes. Greece usually gets 5+ as well, maybe there next.

Had another critter encounter last night on the patio. It was close to midnight and I had just gotten home and it was nice out so I thought I'd go out and chill for 10 min. or so. Long story short, I had an opossum encounter. Almost gave me a heart attack. I'm officially afraid to go out there at night now. This city wildlife is too much.

Geez. Soon you will be able to write your own version of "On The African Plains" by Jane Goodall. I suggest a wee doggie that will sprinkle your patio with doggie goodness and discourage the local wildlife from visiting. Plus, you get a faithful and loving housemate in the bargain.

Yep. She's made oodles of discoveries through her study of chimpanzees.

Just as Dian Fossey did concerning gorillas until some low life piece of shit murdered her for it.
To know where your heart is, look where your mind goes when it wanders.

A rock in bad hands killed Abel. A rock in good hands killed Goliath. It isn't about the rock.

A true warrior fights not because he hates the one in front of him, but because he loves those behind him.

My lawn was getting sooooo long, to the point where I didn't even know where to begin with it. I went on Craigslist and found a woman who was offering gardening services. Living with just a teenage girl (who is never home lol) I didn't really want a guy coming here so I contacted this woman and asked if she does lawn care. She said she does/can and she would bring her husband along to tackle my jungle lol. Cheap price and they're doing SUCH a great job!

Meanwhile I'm tackling the inside of the home little by little. Spring cleaning sort of. Gotta clean things up!

That's great! Yards are a lot of work. The spring cleaning will feel good. One thing that was nice about when I moved is that I cleaned everything off really well before I moved it. Furniture, pictures/artwork, knick knacks... And my new place was all sparkling clean before I put stuff in it. Feels good to have everything clean. We'll see how long I can keep it that way, but I'm gonna try!

Tragic. An end to studying primates and their social behavior without the introduction of a torrent of false data. Pure scientific research sans paid for agenda is almost extinct as some of the primate groups.

Yards are a ton of work! They're really nice and really working their asses off. I still had that large branch that came off the big tree in my yard during one of the wind storms. They chopped that all up and now I have wood for fires in the fire pit!

Having a clean sparkling inside always makes me feel good! I love a clean home. Once the cleaning is done I will be doing some painting! I've been wanting to repaint a couple of rooms and some trimming in another room since I moved in, but I got so sick for so long that everything went on hold.

Those days are gone! I'm kicking ass again (well mostly lol) so it's game on up in here!

Helloo :)

I broke my toe lol its well purple today.
Was having a bath and Merlin somehow managed to jump to the top of the bathroom door!
He is 7kg and was looking all scared and so not wanting him to jump all that way down and hurt himself I jumped out the bath, ran to get a fleece throw I have in the front room,
Tried to coax him down but he was having none of this, meowing loudly and looking at me anxiously (sod)
So I went (still dripping wet and draped in throw) n got the metal stepladder, stood on 1st step, he still refused, stood on 2nd step, then slipped, my toes bashed both metal steps then the floor on the way down and Merlin jumped on me at the same time GRRRRR!

Hello all. I had an accident this morning and just got back from the ER a bit ago. I have a damned specialized neck brace on and have to see a neurosurgeon soon. Long story, old bones, bulging neck discs and one spiral neck fracture. The drugs, however, have been most excellent.

Lots going on today both in the earth and on the earth. Upheaval seems to be the word of the day.

The great thing is its Friday which will hopefully lead to some rest and comfort for those literally under the gun both physically and emotionally. Happy Friday everyone. ltana
