Okay friends, gotta get some sleep. Tomorrow my baby girl has her next cheerleading competition. Tomorrow is a huge competition. It is regionals (2 hours away...yuck). Because of this I won't be as available as usual. I will have my phone so I will have access to the internet and will check in and will do my best to post when I receive alerts, but I am going to need you guys and gals to help me out tomorrow. My baby girl is such an amazing little lady! And tomorrow I will be in full-blown mommy mode <3 If they place 1st or 2nd tomorrow, they will be going to nationals, held in Florida...Disney!! Now I'm freaking out a bit because my baby's b-day is 11/18 and then Christmas is 12/25. If they win 1st or 2nd tomorrow I will have to purchase 2 round trip flights to Florida and pay for the hotel stay...and we would be leaving on December 9th! Ouch! But it is worth it. I work hard and can manage it if it needs to be done. My angel is worth it all. And she deserves to experience it (if it happens...fingers crossed). When I was my daughter's age I also cheered for Pop Warner and we made it all the way to nationals. I had the time of my life at 10 years old, going to Florida with all of my friends, staying in the hotel and having a blast, competing on an outdoor stage in the warm, sunny state of Florida! I want my little girl to get that opportunity even if it means I'll be a little out of budget for a couple of months. She deserves it and I am such a proud mommy!!!

Re: Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated
Good morning everyone!!! I was just startled and scared awake by the most violent earthquake dream I had ever exoerienced. It started like this:

I was sitting at my computer in my room. All of a sudden without warning my entire room lurched forward by at least a few feet. The shaking was so scary violent and lasted for at least 20 minutes. At least half way through the shaking there was a massive "drop" of everything by at least 15-20 feet. Amazingly after everything was all over our home was fine. After going outside everything seemed fairly ok. Except helicopters were flying around all over the place. What alarmed me was not the earthquake itself but that there was radio silence. After the quake I checked the radio to see if there was any news. Nothing. No news anywhere about the quake. It was like it didn't happen and they wanted to keep everything quiet. Everybody was scrambling to make sense of what just happened. Everything after the earthquake was so fast that I do not remember every detail of who did what during the dream.

Then I woke up.

Hi CS, I'm sorry about your dream. That sounds really scary and I'm one of those people who can put themselves in someone else's shoes, so to speak, when identifying with what another is going through. Let's hope and pray that it was/is nothing more than a bad dream. I'm sure your heart is racing, as well as your mind, but do your best to believe that it was a dream, and that you have friends who care about you and wish you a peaceful night's sleep. Maybe turn on your radio. Low volume. Relaxing music. And try to think happy thoughts. You'll be in my heart tonight : )

The thing is, I don't have a radio. Haha. Although my computer can act as a radio...oh, well...

Thanks Simple! You're as awesome as your feet are gorgeous!! cool2

I'm fine. Just startled with how violent the shaking in the dream was. I haven't had one like that at all and normally don't dream about earthquake-related stuff. But these earthquake dreams seem to be increasing as of late. Weird.

I just wish the next big one would finally happen so we can have it all over with. While I don't want all the fatalities and destruction that normally occur with such events, at least if it happens it will just be over with finally and it will be awhile before the next big one.
