Would've been an amazing experience...although I'm not the biggest Ozzy fan. I loved all the people who bitched about him doing this lol. rockon

I'm not a huge Ozzy fan either but I am a big Black Sabbath fan. I'd guess around 10 years ago Sabbath did a "reunion tour" - their first in many years at that time, and it was the original sabbath with Ozzy on vocals. He didn't sound great then, but overall it was a great show and I'm very glad I saw them altogether when I had the chance. Judas Priest was also on that bill, and blew them away. Ozzy got nothin' against my man Halford.

You're right, I have, and I'm lucky. Music has always been my love, especially live music. I keep ALL my ticket stubs too. Have them going back to the 80's when I was in high school.

If you've never seen Judas Priest, you need to. They NEVER disappoint. I've seen them on recent tours, and they are always outstanding. Rob Halford still sounds great. If you seek him out on instagram it will crack you up. Lots of random goofy selfies. Just him, in random places doing random things, and usually giving the devil horns with his hand. He kills me.

And Kickin and CS. Sorry to hear about your jobs.

And even though it sucks, especially hearing CS' story, I have always learned that in those situations that while one door closes, another one is opened.

Go from there and you will be alright. hf

Still, they're always fun. Used to go into Pittsburgh every summer during my high school years to see shows. Good times!

It's too bad I missed out on seeing Maiden this year.

They're another one I've never seen. Always wanted to though.

Back in 2007 I stayed in L.A. for just a short while. Got to attend Comedy Central's Gene Simmons Roast at The Key Club. I ran into Scott Ian. I was so drunk that night...I must have been acting pretty stupid but I made him laugh a lot. No clue what I said to him lol.

I also ran into Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains and Geoff Tate of Queensryche.

It was a great night.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. You are awesome people hf To be honest, I really don't care much about birthdays (especially my own.)

*cracking voice* Age is but a number. Okay, at one point that statement is rudely kicked in the ass by one look at the help you ordered at H.T.E.I.U (Hire a Typist for the Elderly Internet User), but it is how I see it. I often tell the people I work with: "Your heart says AC/DC, but your hair says Meals on Wheels."

Always let your heart prevail. It is what you carry inside and how you look at the world that really defines your life and what age you really are. I just always want people to be safe, get along and be recognised.

I also realise myself that is not always possible. Sometimes life gets in the way. Sad stuff, mad stuff, silly stuff, causing heartache, silence, distance. And trust me, I am not a positive tard 24/7. My God, I would drive myself crazy, lol. But it has never kept me from trying to bring the sun out, catch a smile here and there and break tense situations by putting things in perspective, with a smile a joke or whatever.

Anyway, my H.T.E.I.U typist (a beautiful 20 yr old college student with 300 hits per minute, costs $20 per half hour) says her contract states she is entitled to a five minute break every hour, so I will shut up. You are all beautiful.

Drinks are on me this weekend!

Scott Ian! What a classic! I love this whole story. I bet the Gene Simmons roast was fun! Endless jokes when talking about that guy I'm sure.

Did you go to the Rainbow on Sunset when you were there? You are definitely a person who needs to go there. It is, by far, the best bar I've ever been to. Best people watching EVER! And there's always someone famous there. I've seen Jimmy Fallon, Derek Whibley (no one knew who he was but me, and that's only because he was married to Avril Lavigne). Saw the entire band Five Finger Death Punch there before their show at the Whisky. Also saw Ron Jeremy there and got a pic with him! Couldn't help it. And yes, he looks just as smarmy in person, although I have to say, he was very cordial and not creepy towards me - was also happy to take a pic.

You all are awesome, enjoy ya friday nights! I'll be nerding out on this Cane'. I just hope people stay safe. Per TWC live feed i'm seeing a lot of people still driving and walking around, right next to the ocean.
