Re: Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated
Monday will have been two weeks since we brought Eclipse home. Two weeks of hell. Meet and greets have been horrible. Family has been stressed.

This morning my husband said enough is enough. Let Eclipse out of our room and said "Go for it!"

The two have been playing and only a few times has Luna had Eclipse in a neck hold but not biting hard but there have been yelps. Half the time from Luna.

3 hours later, the house is calm and we put up the tree. Naked still but they are getting along - mostly and the stress is easing up for everyone, kittens included.

Luna is 6 months old now and weights over 6 lbs.
Eclipse is 3 months old now and is less than 2 lbs.

The weight difference is what we have worried about and the baby getting hurt by accident. She is healed up from spaying so we aren't as worried.

My home is a home again!!!

The mall was pure hell today. But, I got what I went there for and (mostly) got in/out of the parking lot without too much problem. You wouldn't believe the swarms of people in the mall though, and the lines!!

You and deano are both brave! Lol, you couldn't pay me to go to one of the malls around here the entire month of December! People get into all out brawls in the parking lots. And then there's the zoo inside.

I won't go to a mall at all. On-line, Wally World and Target. That's all. Last year I watched humanity sinking lower and lower into animal behavior and don't want any part of that. We celebrate the birth of God's son, not danger.

I'm usually like that. I rarely shop at malls anymore to begin with, and I haven't been to a mall in December for years. Thankfully all the kids I buy for are adults now so I just send them a check. And if I get my siblings stuff, it's not stuff from a mall. I actually went for something for myself! I could've ordered online but figured why pay for shipping when I had time to drop by the mall. It was a really nice day here and it is only the first weekend in December, so I had some hope it wouldn't be like Xmas eve. I'm an idiot, it was pure chaos.

Also, it got so warm here today the damn mosquitoes came back out! Just took some stuff out to the recycle bin and had to swat away 3 big ones!

lol, no big deal really. I hate shopping anymore, so I wasn't expecting it to be enjoyable. I used to LOVE shopping. Not sure where that took a turn, but I suppose it's for the best!

We are supposed to get that cold snap next week too. I think around mid week.

Well, nothing too exciting. Bath and Body Works had their 3-wick candles on sale for $8.95. They rarely go on sale for that cheap. I actually still have some from the last time I stocked up (I use them religiously), but at that price I decided to get some, and I just found out about it today and I think the sale ends today. Thought about ordering online, but figured WTH, I have time, I'll just run to the mall vs. paying for shipping. No biggie, right?? lol. I also had a coupon for $15 off plus another coupon I could use at the same time for a free item. Got a $13 hand scrub (not the soap, but a moisturizing scrub/exfoliator). I also knocked out another errand by hitting the GNC in the mall for my enzymes, and also got a skincare item I needed at Macy's, which was %15 off (weird, because those name brands at the makeup counters never usually have discounts like that). Overall, I did pretty well, and in just under 2 hours (85% of that was in BBW, and most of that time waiting in one of 6 or 7 lines to check out).

Check these out. I think these are really cool. Wish I knew about them a long time ago.

Long Distance Touch Lamp

Light up a loved one's life—across town or across the country—with two or more of these in-sync lamps. When you turn one on with a simple touch of your hand, its mate emits the same ambient glow, no matter where it is and who is on the other end.

Yeah, it was worth it. I especially wanted a couple of the balsam candles, which were not on sale last time I got candles so I didn't get any. I like having those every year at this time, so I can have real Christmas tree smell in the house. I ended up with 6 candles total, and I already had 6 from the last time, so I think I'm set for a while. And in the meantime, my closet where they are stored is smelling pretty damn good.

Also, I just tried out the hand scrub. It is AWESOME! OMG, I swear my hands look 10 years younger than they did prior. It's super scrub-y, and smells like a bowl of fresh citrus! I highly recommend! (note: this is not a paid advertisement)
