Welp, I haven't made any cookies or candy yet but I did make a big ole pot of lima beans, ham and corn coblets for dinner. And topped it off with a pan of buttered corn bread.

Yummy

Re: Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated
I haven't watched the video below - too long - but the following transcript, if you will, was posted on his website, which I can't link here.

The new weekly earthquake forecast video has now been released. Major seismic unrest is expected this week. Please be ready, and have a plan.

At least two M7.0+ earthquakes may occur this week, as well as multiple M6.0+ earthquakes are expected to spread out across each region.

The West Pacific has two warned locations on watch for M7.0+ seismic unrest this week. Papua New Guinea , and near Vanuatu / New Caledonia both watching for M7.0+ earthquakes to strike the middle fulcrum points forming in each region.

Areas warned for M5.9 to M6.9 range activity areas include Northwest California near Eureka , Northeastern Coast of Japan (central Japan), South Europe in Greece, Central Iran, and the Kermedec Islands near New Zealand.

Areas warned for M4.9 to M5.9 activity include Southern California near Santa Barbara, Central Italy near Norcia, Central New Zealand near Wellington, South Japan near Kyushu, Sumatra Indonesia, East Timor, Solomon Sea, Nepal, Colombia South America, Southern Mexico near the Guatemala border, and South Chile near Valpariso.

Areas warned for M3.9 to M4.9 activity include Austria / Switzerland / North Italy, Eastern Romania, Poland, Scotland, Iceland, Central California near Mammoth Mountain, Western Oklahoma near the Kansas border, West Texas near Fort Stockton, and Northern Colorado across the Western Slope + Front Range.

Areas looking for smaller swarms below M3.9 include Southern California near Anza Gap, Yellowstone Supervolcano in Northwest Wyoming, New Madrid Seismic Zone in Southern Missouri, and East coast near the New York / Quebec border.

Which reminds me, I need to go wrap some stuff. I got lazy recently lol. Wasn't feeling so great either the past couple of weeks. I saw my hematologist today and because my blood levels are up there again he ordered a phlebotomy for me. I am SO happy I was able to get drained before Christmas! That's my best gift! I didn't wanna feel like shit on Christmas, and now I won't. : )
 Quoting: Simple27

I was just wondering about this a few days ago. Thought to myself, you must doing better and haven't needed to do the draining again. Sorry you have to, but glad you'll fit it in before the holiday. Wish you didn't have to deal with all that.
 Quoting: KickinIt

It's been about 3 months since I've had one. I have my blood levels checked now every three months, which is good! At the beginning I had to have them checked weekly.

So I am doing better. : )

Sorry you have been feeling so crappy. Glad you will be able to enjoy Christmas!!!!

I am going in tomorrow as my asthma and cough (both related to allergies) as getting bad. I have to have a procedure on the 27th and since it will be under general I can't have breathing problems. Hopefully they can give me a steroid burst - like prednisone and I will feel better.

Very allergic to my kittens and that isn't helping one little bit. "Get rid of them!" One might suggest and they would get my evil eye thrown their way. Just doing the best I can until my immune system gets used to their dander. Blah
 Quoting: WhiteAngel

I hope they do so you can feel better! And I hope your procedure on the 27th isn't anything too serious, but I'll be praying regardless. hugs

Today was different at Physical Therapy.

I've been working on my walking with my stepdad, and working to improve how I walk without assistance - without a cane. I've made major strides. Once I showed PT, they were amazed that I was walking normally in the parallel bars. They are changing my program and putting me mostly on the parallel bars so I can regain walking strength.

I also used my right leg to step up for the first time in over a year. The step was a portable wooden box they put in the center of the floor of the parallel bars. I knew my right knee was weak but holy hell. Now I know exactly how weak it is. It took me a few attempts but I was able to fully step up and straighten my knee on the step successfully. After a few more tries I was able to do it much easier, and stand on it under its own power afterwards.

It was jarring just seeing how weak it is still. But wow...to be able just to do that after a year is incredible.

Great things are happening.

Just another colonoscopy (I have a kinky colon and the usual light sedation doesn't work for me as I come out of it in pain and when they give me more sedation my bp plummets) - after they found 16 in April I was suppose to have it done in Oct and I just kept putting it off. Needs to be by the end of the year for the insurance. $2,000 deductible a year is hard and I have met mine already this year.
