To know where your heart is, look where your mind goes when it wanders.

A rock in bad hands killed Abel. A rock in good hands killed Goliath. It isn't about the rock.

A true warrior fights not because he hates the one in front of him, but because he loves those behind him.

Found a job guys!!

Got myself a nice little plastic red cup and a comfy, busy intersection to panhandle at. Unfortunately the local raccoons only offer minimal health benefits but my 401k is really taking shape as change I keep buried in the dirt with a mason jar.

Killed these interviews... or so I thought. 0-3 with one more on Friday - the selling phones one. Derp. I ain't stressed tho, I'll find something eventually.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weeks!

Don't fear the reaper.

Naw I havent. Try a datil pepper if ya can find any. No one knows how they got to America but most people think they were brought on ships from Spain 500 years ago along with indentured servants.

The kids did most of it (with mamas direction of course...lol). I basically just have the cake to do. She decided to invite her mom after all and she wanted to help, so my daughter in law said she could do the flowers if she wanted to. I told her that I needed to see the flowers after her mom got them so I could work the same into the cake....uh....not happening. NOPE.

They're doing a jeans/flannel/cowboy boot theme and that woman actually went to the damn dollar store and got pink, white and blue Easter flowers. I think she picked out the ugliest, most fake looking shit she could find. And she ONLY got enough to make a bouquet. No boutineers. No floral decor for the hall. JUST a flippin cheesy looking bouquet. And then moaned about how she had to spend $5 on them.

OMG. I haven't even met her and I already can't stand this woman. No wonder she wasn't going to be invited in the beginning.

IF you have the time and DESIRE (and $$$), you could take on the centerpieces and just work around the general color theme she used. You could even use darker shades of those colors. Depending on the number of guest tables this could become costly, but it could also be pulled off at a low cost if the time is available.

Come to think of it, it would likely cause more stress than necessary trying to pull that off on top of the cake project with such limited time.

No stress, no worries. The wedding will be beautiful. Not many wedding guests rave about the flowers at a wedding. Their attention will be on more important things, like the bride & groom. : )

Lol @ the red solo cup job story!

Good luck for Friday! The effort is there, which is most important. Don't let the delay in being hired get you down to the point where you won't want to look for work. Keep looking and keep applying and keep the faith my man!

I do sense doom by this weekend and 2018 in general. Don't know what type of event and why my intuition is saying this. I'm not a bible tard by any means but yeah i'll leave this here

It's Like things right now are held together by very thin ice in many aspects and only a matter of time till it breaks down. But There is always the non-doom alternative so who knows.
