I felt this coming for a week or so before it happened. Told the fam to be expecting something and bam... proven right.

Just thought you'd want to look at this Simple, or anyone else interested.

Hey Earth - did you get the heavy rain last night?

That Weld County gets more tornadoes than any other county in the USA is amazing to me. That is the county just north of Adams.

AKO, it might just be us right now, but have you ever felt broken? Like broken to the point where you don't believe you can be fixed? And not just regarding health...more heart...

If this is way too personal I understand. I'm just going through so many different things I have to ask those I trust. : )

hugs

Sweetie we all feel broken at moments or times in our lives. You are not so damaged you can't be fixed....your heart is too good. Don't dwell on what happened, let it go and move on. People have the ability to get through some of the most horrific things, learn, grow and move on with a better understanding of what it means to be human.

Just don't dwell on it. That leads to depression, the blues and melancholy. Life is too short. Find the joy and beauty instead.

I am speaking from experience here. When my mama died, my world came crashing down around me and I never thought I would find happiness again. It took years to get past the most horrible grief. Felt I had wasted my life and nothing would ever be "good" again. My kiddos, poor things, just kept giving lots of sweet hugs and finally life moved on. My childhood was. Not. Nice. I could sit around and dwell on it and drive myself nuts but like my mama said "You are a tough old bird and you can handle anything."

That goes for you too Simple - you are a tough old bird and you can handle anything!!!

Thank you WA, I appreciate that. I don’t know what’s up with me lately. I’m all out of whack, lol. But I do know that what you’ve said is true. And that part I’ve made bold…let’s just say I’ve been there. And horrific may not even be a strong enough word, but I wouldn’t change a thing now because I know I wouldn’t be who I am had I not gone through what I went through.

I was in a bit of a funk, but I’ll be just fine. I’ve got great friends here to make sure of that. hugs

Oh dear, we may well be whiteangel...I'm very surprised. I checked the satellite earlier and I saw we 'may' get some heavy showers but this one was a belter. We don't really get that many 'crazy thunderstorms' in these here parts of the world and all I can say is it was a good thing I am on my laptop, I had to switch everything else off and dive for cover. Just checked the satellite again and we've got a conveyor of thunderstorms coming into central England.
