Quoting: Anonymous Coward 48266166 IIRC days before the Japan quake there had been a series of flares 1m and 2 small xs. I waited for the last flare to hit at the estimated time and there was little in the news except a breaking story about an earthquake north Japan. My point is oarfish and a series of flares make for bad juju.
