I had two phone calls and then watched the weather report ;)

Reminds me when Frankfurt had a flooding from heavy(est) rain and a friend was working in Städel museum and they "evacuated" the paintings in the cellars. Summer 2004, I was on my way back from Boreaux together with my daughter (2.5 yrs then) and we stranded in Lyon airport in the night. FRA had 37 l within 20 min. Was an adventure I can tell you. But my little was so calm that the other people were astonished.

In Paris they have the warning in advance so I think they can manage it, tomorrow the Louvre will be closed. In that night in Frankfurt they must call people to come from their homes for help because it happened suddenly.
