Quoting: Master of Nothing Cabazon. Wasn't a typical So Cal quake. I'm border of LA/OC and it was different. Could be a foreshock. Quoting: TrixieMama What makes you say it wasn't typical? This dude says it only lasted 5 seconds.. this dude is in Victorville Quoting: Master of Nothing Our quakes here just feel different. This was a jolt, then nothing. The jolt wasn't even big, usually we have a jolt then rolling. This time didn't get any of that. And yes, it was VERY short. Usually our EQ's seem like they go forever. The rolling or swaying usually continues after the initial jolt. In the Whittier quake the ground literally rolled, you could see it rolling toward you. In the Fullerton quake, it was a huge jolt then back and forth hard rocking. This was a different type of plate slip i'm thinking. Quoting: TrixieMama Im about 20 min drive from Cabazon. There was definitely rolling here. Didnt last long though.
