Plant update!

Noticed some little gnats/flies, hence the neon sticky traps. Don't want an infestation, so I'm trying to take measures sooner than later. Any advice is appreciated!

From what I heard CS has deleted his account. Must have been over the political discussions. Mostly on other threads, not on here. Pity we can't respect our different opinions without throwing insults at each other.

Even though from both ends there was some fierce back and forth bickering at times, that still is no reason to not live and let live, from both ends. I am glad on here that respect is always there, no matter what side of the political spectrum we are on.

What I do:
Get a take-out beverage cup anywhere with a top that has slits for straw...bend in the straw area a little bit, just enough so the gnats can get into the cup.
In the cup, put some apple cider vinegar, about a quarter cup, and some water, not much. Then put in 4-5 drops of dish soap.
Mix,,,Put the lid on, and put it near where any gnats are.

The gnats love vinegar, and will crawl into the cup and go for the vinegar. The soap on top makes a layer of tension, that once the gnats go for the vinegar they cannot get up out of the solution, they get trapped in there and DIE.

Change the solution when you are disgusted with the amount of dead gnats in there....

Good morning everyone !

...been busy with fall things, gardens, window washing, and now my Granny Smith apple tree is LOADED with lovely big apples unlike last year when I got hardly any. I have sprayed it every 3 weeks, so they are perfect.
So, applesauce canning coming up, and switch from summer to fall decor, leaf raking, car & garage cleaning,,,,,on and on and on. Winter is nice as there are only inside things to do.

Any of you with health or other issues, I pray for you along with the prayer thread Brothers and Sisters.
