Thank you my dear friend. Unfortunately there will be no improvement when it comes to his nerves in his legs and he will have to accept that this is the maximum it is.

Last week was hectic and quite energy draining, with appointments and discussions about the location after his recovery is done. He will get no approval for a nursing home, because he is in that respect not ill or handicapped enough (nowadays only people with severe dementia get approval and his brains are not the issue, it's his legs.) I think that might not be the worst, because that would mean he would be among mostly old, very ill people all day. At his age, 64 now, that does not seem healthy for his motivation to me.

So we are trying to get help through town, an appartement or so, with adjustments and medical care a few times a day. That will be another fight. It always is about money nowadays. But we won't give up. My brother is quite depressed and grumpy about it all, which I understand. I believe when things settle down are are arranged, he will adjust.
