Good evening all - been off for a while again. But wanted to give a quick update to all who have prayed and sent good thoughts over the past month.

I HAVE MY GREAT GRANDBABY BACK!!!!!!

Thank you to everyone who has been supportive and encouraging during this unbelievably hard time. I went to another town 120 miles away last week - a week ago as a matter of fact. Went to the foster home where Baby S was being taken care of. She nearly jumped out of the foster mom's arms when I went in - hugged my neck with both arms, buried her head in my shoulder, and LAUGHED! She wouldn't let me go. I cried. When we got home, later that afternoon, she did the same thing to my hubby. He nearly cried as well.
We have custody of her full-time, but still under the umbrella of CPS. My attorney is working to get that changed, but it may take a while. But at least we have her.
She came home sick, so that has been a challenge. And she had quit talking, was hitting and getting very angry at the least little thing, and not sleeping well. But she is rapidly getting back to more like what she was BEFORE all this started. And thank God she is young enough to not really remember any of this.

Grandson is in rehab for 60 days. Went in voluntarily, and seems to be doing very well. It will be a long process, I know, but at least he's at a point where he WANTS to get clean and better, because he's the only parent his daughter will have. The mom is losing her parental rights, and rightly so.

I have a lot of business bookkeeping to get done, and Baby S is still a bit under the weather, so I may not be able to get back on until next week. But I wanted to let you know that my world is a whole lot better!!! And to tell you all that I love you guys, and appreciate your support more than I can say. I hope to get things lined out and get back on here regularly...miss all of you lots!!!
