This morning when I left for work, there was a bird in my car. I got to my car and opened the rear door to put my work bag in the backseat. It must've flown in at that moment, although I don't know how that's possible with me not seeing or hearing anything. I put the bag on the seat and shut the door in a matter of seconds, but just before opening my driver's door I noticed something awry. The front windows were totally frosted over so I couldn't see anything, but I could see a shadow behind the driver's window - something flitting around and I could also hear the flitting noise. I quickly realized something alive that wasn't me was in my car, and I freaked for a minute. I thought it was a BAT at first, due to how it looked behind the frost. But I finally opened the back door again and peeked around from a distance and could see it was a bird. then I worried I was going to have bird shit ALL over my car. Then I panicked that the damn thing had been in there since last night when I got home, which would means a whole lot of poo in my car. That got me to open up the front door also, at which point the bird flew out and I had to duck or else it would've hit me and traumatized us both. Then I scoured my car for poo, feathers, and anything else that didn't belong. All I found was one single little poo on my dash. Which only confirmed the bird had just flown in there when I opened the back door, which was somewhat of a relief.

anywhoo, that sure woke me up this morning! I'm sure the Ring video from my neighbor's house is pretty humorous.
