I am not sure what kind of bird, it all happened so fast I didn't get the best look at it but based on what little details I saw I think it's whatever kind hangs out in the bush in front of my house. It's always full of the same kind of bird, rarely do I see a Cardinal or any other common bird in that bush. I bet one of my neighbors know what it is. And once I find out I'm gonna look and see if it has a specific symbolism.

But having just done a very brief search of "bird totem" I came across this article with this snippet:

If we only have one spirit animal, I can't imagine mine is a bird. Still, I like this interpretation so I'm gonna go with it.
