More than 6,000 people closest to the volcano were ordered to evacuate. [ link to weather.com (secure)] if such a small volcano can do this imagine what the others can do  Our beautiful rock is going through some increasingly bad times.. Terrible to see this and to look at the videos.Scary. I heard on the news here that they expected hundred of thousands more to be evacuated as well.
