Of course I don't want to downplay anything, because if people have damage from it or get hurt, it can be a personal disaster, but all in all we did alright. Quite a bit of trees down, rooftops blown off in some cities.

So far no human casualties in The Netherlands. One cow was killed when a stable collapsed. R.I.P. cow Bertha 23.

No power outages. Most of our power supply is underground.

Worst of the storm is gone now, even though it keeps being very windy the coming days. It is an extensive wind field that we have hardly seen the past decades. I guess Germany and maybe UK got the biggest brunt of it.

We will have to wait for the reports tomorrow from the other countries. But in no way it was compared to the hurricanes and typhoons that sometimes rage across the other parts of the world. But like I said, it doesn't mean it can not hurt or damage.
