What is that even supposed to mean? What a flippant, irresponsible thing to throw out there with zero statistics. Is he saying a couple of doctor pals of his in NoCal have seen more than they typically do in a year? Or is he saying that the NoCal region has seen their average annual number of suicides in just one month? There has been an increase in suicides during this pandemic, but I find it hard to believe NoCal has had a year's worth of suicides in a little over 2 months. The # of suicides in CA in 2018 was nearly 4500. Even a fraction of that number would be an insane number of suicides for such a short period.
