Terrible. It almost looks like nowadays there are fires all year round. Quoting: InterMezzo We are in extreme drought and the little moisture we have had in the last three months, well, it was pathetic. I think I heard on the news we are 3/4's the amount of rain less than we usually have by now. The snow they got there a few weeks ago, was only a few inches and it would have taken 8-10" to stop this monster. Quoting: WhiteAngel I hear you Angel. And according to this site and outlook, the drought doesn't seem to change anytime soon. [ link to www.drought.gov (secure)] The site also has an outlook for the coming three months, directed at potential fire risk: [ link to www.predictiveservices.nifc.gov (secure)] Of course, when you are in the middle of it and suffering from it or losing your house and more to it, you don't need a service like that to tell you.
