Those other quakes in Hawaii have also been around Kilauea volcano - this one however is the first recent one to occur directly AT the volcano base itself. I think you mean Mauna Loa. But yes, I noticed this too. I looked up the location because the depth was so shallow. I've always felt Hawaii isn't finished since Kilauea. It's been a while now and the experts don't seem to have any imminent concerns, but that island still seems restless to me.
